• Proven experience teaching Year 9 and/or Year 10 students, and/or demonstrated experience preparing students for NCEA Literacy and Numeracy Co-requisite Common Assessment Activities (CAA).

We are looking for tutors who can commit to 1–4 afternoons per week, teaching 2–3 sessions per day between 3:30pm and 7:30pm, Monday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons using the Kip McGrath methodology and curriculum
• Support students in a positive and encouraging manner to build confidence and self-esteem
• Learn and utilise our advanced software to plan and deliver both face-to-face and online lessons
• Maintain consistent attendance and commitment to scheduled classes
• Build strong, professional relationships with students and parents
• Provide high-quality literacy and/or numeracy instruction tailored to individual learning needs
• Monitor and record student progress and goals on a weekly basis
• Communicate student progress through both verbal and written feedback to parents

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• A degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education (or be in your final year)
• A current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card
• A friendly, professional, and approachable manner
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when required
• An enthusiastic and vibrant personality
• Confidence in using technology (own laptop preferred)

• Keeping an accurate record online of your students progress and goals on a weekly basis
• Providing verbal and written feedback to parents
• Work up to 2 - 3 sessions a day (Monday to Saturday)

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Payroll and Finance Officer to join our team. The Payroll and Finance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll activities, adherence to regulatory requirements, and providing support to employees and stakeholders regarding payroll inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process the fortnightly payroll function, including managing timesheets, leave applications, overtime payments, variations and exceptions, and deductions.
• Administer superannuation payments and other relevant payments monthly.

• Provide advice and assistance to franchisees and promptly respond to queries from Jira.

Ideal Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Professional Responsibilities

· Teaching small groups of students online and or face to face.

· Supporting students to use our bespoke programme.

· Planning individually tailored lessons using our platform and resources.

· Providing feedback to parents.

Essential Criteria

· Qualified Teacher with recent teaching experience.

· DBS cleared.

• Using your strong rapport building skills to develop and maintain a positive relationship with students and parents
• Keeping an accurate record online of your students progress and goals on a weekly basis
• Providing verbal and written feedback to parents

ABOUT YOU

To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:

• A teaching degree or in the final year of your degree
• A current Working with Children Check
• A friendly, professional and personable manner
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
• Demonstrate a positive, vibrant personality
• Confidence using software and computers
• Genuine love for learning and teaching
• Reliable, high attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability and willingness to teach face to face in our Mt Gravatt Centre
